Mervyn Baker, of Wheelers chartered accountants in Wisbech, enjoyed a retirement party last week.
Mr Baker joined Wheelers when he merged his sole practitioner business with Wheelers in 1984. He was made senior partner in 2007.
His main expertise was assisting owner managed businesses with all aspects of accounting, tax and business development.
He provided advice and support to a wide range of businesses and personal clients.
Mr Baker also has considerable expertise in the agricultural and horticultural industries.
He intends to make the most of his retirement. As well as being a devoted family man, he has a keen interest in all things sporting and also plans on sharpening up his culinary skills.
