Two cars came within seconds of colliding with one another on one of Wisbech’s most notorious roads – and the whole incident was caught on camera.
A reader – who wishes to remain anonymous – submitted this video of the near miss on the A47 in Wisbech.
The video, captioned ‘What an idiot, unreal’ shows a dark grey estate car pull out of a crossroads, missing the approaching car by seconds and nearly colliding with another car in the process.
The minute-long video was uploaded to a channel appropriately named ‘Bad drivers’ on July 24. The channel contains three more examples of dodgy driving from across the region.
The A47 has witnessed a number of crashes in recent months, including a four-vehicle smash in January.
A motorcyclist was also left with serious injuries after a crash on the A47 on Wheatley Bank on June 13. The man suffered head injuries and was air-lifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
