THE problem of "cyber bullying" was studied by pupils at West Walton Primary School during national Anti-bullying Week.

Youngsters worked on a live project called "Stay Safe in Cyberspace", studying a scenario about a bullying victim.

"They were required to make appropriate responses," said deputy head Tom Pearson. "This has made pupils aware of the possible dangers of using the Internet, as well as seeing its advantages.

"We have also invited parents of children in Years 4, 5 and 6 to attend a session where they were instructed abut what they can do to help fight cyber-bullying."

The live computer sessions were staged by Warboys based E-ngage Development, using an interactive web site to engage with 72 classes from 34 schools across the country.
