DRUNKEN patients who abuse staff at one Norfolk hospital will face a ban from all nearby pubs under a unique partnership.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn is the first in Norfolk and one of only a handful in the country to become an affiliated member of Pubwatch, a pub security scheme which bars drinkers from all member licensed premises if they are abusive or violent in just one.
West Norfolk's acute hospital will use Pubwatch to reinforce its zero tolerance policy towards anyone who is violent or abusive against staff.
