She said: “We are a charity for to maintaining the survival of Well Creek that runs through Upwell, Outwell, Nordelph and Salter Lode in West Norfolk.
“It is an important inland navigation link between the Nene and the Great Ouse rivers. The Well Creek Trust was formed in 1970 and its aim is to ensure the survival of this ancient watercourse for all time.”
She explained: “Last year, I took on the task of clearing our large mooring, which was overgrown and very dilapidated.
“The bank has been reclaimed and planted and it continues to grow. I have now transformed this mooring into a huge focal point in our lovely village and have brought much joy to boaters, visitors and residents.
“I have fund raised and every plant on the mooring has been donated.”

Sheena said: “There is no theme to my planting and just gratefully receive all that is given. It is a tranquil haven for people to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or have some quiet time.
“All the roses are in memory of someone and it has brought me much satisfaction and joy. We had seven boats moored on it last weekend and they adored it.”
She added: “We have had many boaters through this season and they all say that they have never seen a mooring like it and the best they have ever come across.”
