The Fens took a battering on Sunday as high winds brought down garden fence panels and in one field destroyed an animal shelter and a row of solar panels.
A couple, who run a livery yard in Walsoken, saw the afternoon of bad weather destroy a shelter and take out 12 solar panels that had been installed on A-frames in the field for six months.
Owner Vanessa Norris said : “These are pictures of what is left of my solar panels and field shelter after the storms on Sunday around 4.30pm, luckily the NFU insurance is taking care of everything for us.”
The band of torrential rain and strong winds swept across the Anglia region.
