WATER SUCCESS: Wisbech is celebrating winning a silver medal in the Anglia in Bloom competition after battling against drought conditions followed by torrential storms.
But local organisers say they are looking for more volunteer helpers and increased sponsorship in a bid to do better next year.
Chairman of Wisbech in Bloom, Alan Sherfield, said: "We were very pleased with a silver but we could have done better. We had two new judges this year and they were impressed by what they saw.
"We have a limited amount of money and we desperately need more people to help us and more sponsors."
A team from the Ferry Project helped to keep the stunning floral displays looking great by watering twice a day.
Anyone who can offer help or sponsorship should contact Mr Sherfield on 01945 583943.
