THE father of Christmas Day baby Benjamin Rogers is convinced the early birth was down to divine intervention at a midnight mass.
Owen Rogers and his wife Anna were walking to their home in Halfpenny Lane Elm, at about 12.20am Christmas Day from mass at All Saints' Church, when Anna's waters broke.
She was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, where Benjamin arrived at 3pm Christmas Day. He was 12 days premature and weighed in at 5lb 12oz.
Mr Rogers said: "He took a cue from O Come All Ye Faithful and we could not have asked for a better Christmas present."
Benjamin is Mr and Mrs Rogers' first child. and is pictured here with his proud mum and day after arriving home on Boxing Day.
