POLICE in Wisbech and West Norfolk will hold a joint police surgery later this month.

Officers from the Terrington Safer Neighbourhood Team and the Wisbech and District Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at Walsoken Village Hall on Tuesday January 26 from 9am-3pm.

The surgery is being held to help address the fear of crime following a burglary in Church Road on January 4, during which a 63-year-old woman was confronted by three intruders. Enquiries are ongoing.

Terrington PCSO Chris Lorraine said: "People are understandably concerned following the recent burglary and we want to reassure residents that the village is paid close attention by police from both Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

"The surgery will give local people the chance to come and get to know their neighbourhood officers and discuss any concerns in an informal setting.
