ROLLER Village Roller Sports Centre in Walpole Highway is proud to announce that some world famous skaters will be at the Opening Gala to be held on Saturday February 21 at 7pm.

More than 15 British Champions from all disciplines of the sport will be there - including European and World medal winners.

Dutch show and precision team champions, together with the top UK slalom and freestylers including Naomi Grigg, will be strutting their stuff alongside world famous Roller Dancers Skate Lisa and her team.

Top international artistic skaters and British champions Katie Lodge, Darren Dyke and Kirsty Chick, Nick Loader and Carina Storkey, Christopher Fox and Andrew Smith, and inliner Peter Hammond and Roller Village's own Hannah and Daniel Linden will be showing how dancing on rollers is every bit as good as dancing on ice!

Added to this will be exhibitions of Roller Derby, Roller Football, Roller Hockey and some of the UK's record breaking speed skaters and an exhibition from Phil Norton, just back from performing for Simon Cowell on Britain's Got Talent, and you will be assured of a skating show the like of which has never been seen before under one roof.
