A VERDICT of death through natural causes was returned at the inquest of a 64-year-old man who died in his Wisbech home.
Matthew Hayes, 64, of York Road was found dead, fully clothed and slumped over his bed at 11.30am on August 11.
At his inquest at Fenland Coroner's Court in Wisbech yesterday, doctor William Landells, a pathologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, said he believed that Mr Hayes' death was caused by acute cardiac failure, which is likely to be arrhythmic in origin.
