TYDD St Giles man Simon Papworth has been committed to Cambridge Crown Court, charged with three counts of using false information to claim housing benefit and council tax benefit.

Papworth, 41, of Newgate Road, pleaded not guilty to the charges in November and was committed when he appeared before Fenland magistrates on Friday.

He was given unconditional bail until a plea and case management hearing at crown court on February 27.
