Two women were seriously injured in a road traffic collision in King’s Lynn last night.
On the A47, shortly before 6pm, a silver Vauxhall Zafira and a silver Peugeot 206 were in collision, about 300m after the Pullover roundabout heading towards Wisbech, resulting in the Peugeot coming off the road and into a ditch.
Two female passengers in the Peugeot were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment after sustaining leg, back and head injuries. These are not thought to be life threatening. No one in the Vauxhall was injured.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning the driving manner of the vehicles prior to the collision.
Witnesses should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Swaffham on 101.
