Two thirds of anti social behaviour and crime detected by Fenland Council’s CCTV system relate to Wisbech, according to latest figures.

In July the council says it was able to “respond and detect 165 incidents of crime and disorder including anti social behaviour”.

Wisbech topped the list with 113 incidents, March came second with 33, Whittlesey third with 11 and Chatteris bottom with just eight.

The council says of the 40 “positive enforcement outcomes” detected in July by CCTV, there were 13 arrests, 15 assisted arrests, eight warnings given and four fixed penalty notices issued.
