POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a serious assault at the Rose and Crown Hotel in Wisbech.
The victim was found with head injuries outside the hotel at just after midnight on Friday (December 11) and remains in hospital today in a stable condition.
Two men from the Wisbech area, aged 38 and 49, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and have been bailed to return to March Police Station on January 25.
Police are still appealing for anyone with information about the incident, particularly anyone who was in the Trumpet Bar of the hotel on the night, to contact police.
