Two vehicles slid off the back road between Coldham and Friday Bridge in separate locations last night.
The vehicles were recovered and there were no injuries.
A police spokesman said: “There was a reported diesel spillage along the road and with the weather the road is extra slippery. Please take extra care and slow down if using this route.”
