HOURS after a woman survived a crash in which her car plunged into a Fenland drain, two cars collided along the same stretch of road.
The vehicles - a Citroen C5 and a Ford Galaxy - were in collision along the Sixteen Foot Drain, near Bedlam Bridge on the outskirts of March, at 5.20pm Friday.
The damage-only collision left the road blocked for more than an hour-and-a-half - it was cleared and open to traffic again shortly after 7pm.
Hours earlier, and a few miles along the same stretch of road, Manea woman Alma Ryman managed to escape from her car after it plunged into the Forty Foot Drain near Chatteris.
