Two arrests were made last night following a second arson attack on a Wisbech used car sales depot within 24 hours.

Fire crews spent part of Wednesday night tackling the blaze – and checked on the site yesterday afternoon- only to find themselves back there later after it was set alight again.

“A male and a female were arrested on suspicion of arson last night in relation to a fire on Lynn Road, Wisbech,” said a police spokesman.

Office buildings at the Wisbech Vehicle Exchange – formerly owned by businessman Jerry Morse- was badly damaged in the first blaze. It is not known yet of the extent of last night’s fire.
