TRANSPLANT patient Walter Boswell faces jail if he fails to keep to the terms of his suspended sentence, he was warned this week.

In February last year, 31-year-old Boswell was given a four-month sentence, suspended for 18 months.

He was to be supervised by the probation service and attend a "Think First" course - but on Tuesday admitted he had breached the order by missing three appointments.

Boswell, of Magazine Close, Wisbech, underwent a second kidney transplant operation last June, receiving an organ from his brother.

The court heard that he missed one appointment with the probation service because he was collecting medication from Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. Six months was added to his supervision order.
