FENLAND: Traffic on one of Fenland's busiest roads was held up for more than an hour after a car left the road and ended upside down in a ditch.
The car, a silver Mercedes A160, left the A141 between Westry and Hobbs Lot at about 10am this morning (Tuesday).
Police were on the scene within minutes and controlled traffic as a team from J S Holmes in Wisbech St Mary recovered the car. The scene was cleared by 11.20am.
The driver of the car, a woman believed to be in her 30s, suffered chest and neck injuries and has been taken to Peterborough District Hospital.
