WISBECH Standard photographer Brian Purdy captured this miscreant tractor driver using a mobile phone whilst driving a �40,000 tractor through the town.
Brian pulled over to take the photograph and watched speechless as the driver carried on down Cromwell Road, oblivious to passing or oncoming traffic.
“He seemed to be chatting away happily,” said Brian. “I was staggered.”
Our diarist Samuel Brakespeare was more circumspect believing that “of course there may be a perfectly reasonable and innocent explanation but deuced if I can think of one…..”
