A top Manga artist will pass on her drawing skills at two workshops in Wisbech next month.
The Manga Boot Camp, for people aged 11-16, will be run by Irina Richards, author of Chemical Blue, at Wisbech Library.
On April 8, from 10am-1pm, she will run a Creating a Character workshop. Here, she will demonstrate how to draw a character in manga style, with its facial features, poses, hair and clothes, expressions and emotions.
On April 10, from 10am-12.30pm, her Creating a Comic workshop will focus on the specifics of creating a manga-style comic, with its story, pacing and panelling.
The workshops are funded by Arts Council funding and form part of the Arts Alive in Libraries programme.
