PLANS for three homes in Wisbech are set to be approved this week despite a council’s overdevelopment fears.
Neighbours have also lodged complaints with Fenland District Council over the plans for Ramnoth Road, Wisbech, stating the houses will have affect their quality of life.
They say the new homes will mean neighbouring properties suffer a loss in value and will be damaged, will suffer noise disturbance and impact on health and safety.
Wisbech Town Council said that the development is not in keeping with the street scene and the orientation of the buildings would give rise to overlooking.
Councillors will decide whether to grant permission on Wednesday. A report to councillors said: “The plans demonstrate that three houses with appropriate parking and private garden areas can be accommodated within this site in a manner which respects adjoining amenities and the character of the area.”
