Three men use hammer and iron bar in attack in town centre
POLICE were called to Market Place, Long Sutton, after reports that three men were being attacked by another three men with a hammer and an iron bar. Officers attended the scene and arrested a 20-year-old local man and a 25-year-old local man on suspicion
POLICE were called to Market Place, Long Sutton, after reports that three men were being attacked by another three men with a hammer and an iron bar.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a 20-year-old local man and a 25-year-old local man on suspicion of GBH.
A further offender is still being sought by police and officers are calling on witnesses, who may know his whereabouts, to get in touch and help them with their enquiries.
A 26-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, all from the area, were taken to Kings Lynn Hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries. One of the men has a broken leg and a minor head injury. The others are suffering from cuts and bruises.
