THREE people were arrested following a police operation in Wisbech to crack down on vehicle theft, anti-social behaviour and criminal damage.

The operation, on Friday, September 15, involved officers, PCSOs and special constables.

PCSO Michelle Bax, who organised the operation, said: "This operation is part of ongoing work to combat the problem and saw officers patrolling hotspot areas in the town. We will continue our proactive approach to deal with these offences, which are both disruptive and costly to the public."
