The Mayor of Wisbech, Councillor Garry Tibbs, paid a festive visit to residents at Barchester’s Hickathrift House in Marshland St James on Christmas Day.

Cllr Tibbs took time to speak to each resident and thanked the home’s staff for giving up their time.

Jackalynne Sheilds, general manager, said: “It was lovely to have Garry here on Christmas Day.

“The residents were delighted that he was able to visit us. We all had a wonderful day and we hope that he will come to see us again soon.”
