STAFF and members of the patients group from Terrington St John surgery raised 1,600 for Help for Heroes at a fun day and car boot sale.
Around 30 car boots and a host of stalls were present at the event hosted by the surgery which has housed itself in the village’s scout hut during a challenging year.
However, it was all smiles during an afternoon of fun with traditional favourites such as an obstacle race and a three-legged race being held.
A BBQ and refreshments helped provide further funds for the forces’ charity. Charlotte Robinson won a free driving lesson with Caroline’s Driving School in the prize raffle draw.
