Teaching assistant Carole Barnard with pupils from Friday Bridge Primary School after her retirement presentation.
She had worked at the school for 24 years and received a special photograph, flowers, gardening gift voucher and a present made by each class in the school.
Headteacher Jayne Williams said: "Carole has been a wonderful friend and colleague. She has been a very local and trusted member of staff and is a very patient and caring person.
"We all wish her a very happy and healthy retirement."
Mrs Barnard will spend her retirement relaxing and gardening.
