Tablers turn the table and elect new chairman

PAUL Barker has taken over as chairman of Wisbech Round Table from Nick Seaton.

Mr Barker said: “Nick has been chairman for approx 15 months and in that time has contributed valuable time and effort raising money for local causes - particularly with sponsored cycle events including the recent event featuring Jody Cundy and of course, our Rosefair parade.”

The new chairman has been in Round Table for seven years and was previously the vice chairman.

He works for HSBC as a regional manager and is married to Caro with two grown up daughters, Katie and Emma.

He is also currently vice chairman of Area Round Table.
