Steven Stocks was charged with the murder of Laraine Rayner and preventing her lawful and decent burial after appearing at Huntingdon Crown Court today.
The 43-year-old did not enter a plea.
Ms Rayner’s body was discovered at a property in Mill Road on April 24. A post mortem concluded that she died from a stab wound to the neck.
A provisional trial date has been set for October 17 at Cambridge Crown Court.
