A 71 year old cycling enthusiast will be taking part in a 50 mile marathon event to raise money for Ravenswood Pet Rescue.
Stephen Peasey, will be pedalling in the spring classic bike run to raise money for the Fen based rescue having chosen two Jack Russel dogs from them.
Stephen, of Newton, said: “The cycle route is two laps of 25 miles each around the Dereham area.
“I’ve cycled all my life and love road biking. I normally cycle up to 20 miles two or three times a week.
“I’ve had two Jack Russells from Ravenswood so wanted to do my bit to help them.”
Last year Stephen took part in the London to Brighton cycle ride for the third time and has raised money for various charities including the Stroke Association.
The Norfolk challenge consists of a 25 mile cycle routes designed in a figure of eight, around beautiful Norfolk countryside, that he will complete twice.
