If you fancy a new challenge and are aged 13 to 16 years then an air cadet group might be the place for you.

The Wisbech 272 Squadron are recruiting for new members to join them in a varied programme of activities.

Flight lieutenant Colin Arnold said: “We are able to offer a wide range of activities to cadets from the traditional flying, shooting and adventure training through to model making, first aid training and our band.

“There is also a wide range of more academic activities including the opportunity to gain BTEC qualifications through the activities that you take part in each week.

“We are keen supporters of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and offer all cadets the opportunity to complete at least the Bronze award.

“You’ll gain teamwork and leadership skills as well as the opportunity to meet new friends and go places.”

If you are interested then go along on a parade night on Monday or Thursday from 7pm to 9.30pm or email 272@aircadets.org for more details.

The group meets at the Cadet Centre, Sandyland Street, Wisbech PE13 1NX.
