Two knitting fanatics have been doing their bit to help children get over their fear of giving blood.
The knitters from St Augustine’s Church Knit and Natter Group presented eight Trauma Teds to staff at North Cambs Hospital.
Staff pass the teddies on to young children fearful of donating blood.
The group meets every Tuesday from 2-4pm at St Augustine’s Parish Centre lounge. Trinity Methodist knitters meet on Friday from 1-3pm in their coffee shop on Church Terrace.
Donations of wool to the knitters are gratefully received. To find out more, call 07874 245683
