A number of vehicle crimes have been reported in and around the Wisbech area.

Thieves have stolen items from inside vehicles and removed catalytic converters. In particular, vans, 4x4s and pick-up trucks have been targeted.

Drivers are warned by police to remove valuables - including sat-nav systems, loose change and mobile phones - from their vehicles and to make sure they are locked.

Vehicles should, wherever possible, be kept in a well-secured garage or a well-lit, public area. Catalytic converters should be marked with heat-resistant paint.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious should contact Cambs Police on 101 or call 999 if you witness a crime. Or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
