Sky is the limit for Wisbech air cadet

CADET Sergeant Stephen Ferrett of Wisbech Air Cadets has been presented with his Staff Cadet certificate

CADET Sergeant Stephen Ferrett of Wisbech Air Cadets has been presented with his Staff Cadet certificate

by Flt Lt Goodley, Officer Commanding Wisbech Squadron.

Sgt Ferrett started with Wisbech Squadron in 2006 as a cadet and has worked his way through many exams including Aircraft Navigation, Aircraft Handling and Propulsion.

He is also a Wing Marksman showing competency in shooting and is a valued member of the squadron’s band in which he completes the drumming section. He also teaches aircraft recognition.

Sgt Ferrett said: “I have worked hard for four years and am pleased to achieve this level. I am now looking to help the younger cadets in their training.”

He is hoping to achieve a career in the Royal Air Force in the intelligence or police section.
