IT'S all smiles for six support staff at a Fenland school, who have all qualified as higher level teaching assistants.
Five teaching assistants at Nene Infant School in Wisbech passed their assessments a few weeks ago.
But those staff - Geraldine Moment, Caroline Clarke, Mandy Fowler, Christine Wenn and Hannah Thorpe - received first-hand support all the way from colleague Rachel Larham who passed the same assessment two years ago.
Nene Infant School head teacher Lesley Mardle said: "Teaching assistants are invaluable as support staff and undergo a lot of training.
"There is an extraordinary amount of work involved; it is as rigorous as the national qualifications for headship.
"They have all worked really, really hard and I am extraordinarily proud of the whole team.
