# THERE was plenty of Singing in the Rain to brighten up the day when a group of entertainers performed to elderly and house-bound members of a Wisbech church community.

The classic tune was one of the songs performed by The Bright Sparks, a group of entertainers from the Long Sutton area, which visited members of Our Lady & St Charles Roman Catholic Church.

A number of other people from the parish turned up to enjoy the afternoon tea and entertainment, laid on by the care group from the church.

A similar event is set to be organised, following the success of the afternoon.
