A PROFESSIONAL musician who left England to find world-wide success is to return to Wisbech to perform in concert.

Sean Moyses, who grew up in West Walton and is regarded as one of Europe’s leading banjo players, will play at Elme Hall on March 9 as part of a UK tour.

The former Fenland man will be accompanied at the concert by German-based jazz band, Hot Five, which sees him come back to home town Wisbech after leaving in 1996.

After settling in Germany Moyses began playing at banjo festivals across Europe and in the USA, and plays once a year in Japan.
