Scouts buy new stoves with funds raised at craft fair

MEMBERS of the 14th Wisbech scout group raised almost £120 to buy new camping gas stoves when they had a stall at a craft fair held in St Peter’s Hall.

District Commissioner Jonathan Harwood said: “The stoves were much needed, to replace former stoves that had become damaged.”

Youngsters from the age of six to 14 can join the Scout Association as beavers, cubs, scouts or explorers; adult leaders are also needed.
