A ROADSHOW is being held next week in Wisbech for residents have their say on what levels of development they want to see in the county in the 20 years.

The 'Future Cambridgeshire' roadshow, staffed by planners from Cambridgeshire County Council and the district councils, will visit Wisbech Market Place next Friday.

Staff will be available to talk about four options for growth and development in Cambridgeshire including possible new settlements. The four options are being proposed by The East of England Regional Assembly.

The county council and district councils have offered to collect the views of residents and send them to EERA through a short, user-friendly consultation questionnaire available on the roadshows and on the County Council website.

Councillor Roy Pegram, cabinet member for growth, infrastructure and strategic planning, said: "I would urge people to come and see us on the roadshow to talk to us about the issues and complete our consultation questionnaire which will help us tell EERA what we want for Cambridgeshire."

The consultation can also be completed online by clicking here.
