A ROAD rage incident spilled over into a serious attack on the driver of a car who was attacked by three men as he pulled into a supermarket car park. Police say the assault occurred shortly after 1.30pm on Friday in the car park of Tesco in Sandown Road.
A ROAD rage incident spilled over into a serious attack on the driver of a car who was attacked by three men as he pulled into a supermarket car park.
Police say the assault occurred shortly after 1.30pm on Friday in the car park of Tesco in Sandown Road.
"The victim was in a friend's red Nissan Micra which was involved in a near miss with a dark coloured Vauxhall Vectra or Astra," said a police spokesman.
"The three offenders have then approached the victim, one of them has punched him in the face, causing bruising and a possible broken nose.
"The other offenders have then kicked the door of the vehicle, causing a dent to the rear door panel."
