THE King’s Speech may have won a host of Oscars last month but Fenland pupils celebrated their writing success in their own Hollywood style award ceremony.
Children at Emneth Primary School wore formal clothes, today, as they accepted their Oscars for categories such as Best Poem, Best Story and Best Handwriting after they worked really hard to produce their best written work.
Joanne Borley, the school’s Headteacher, presented the awards to the pupil after they walked up the red carpet and through a balloon arch to the stage in a decorated school hall.
