Public praised for helping to reunite missing Wisbech boy, 10, with his family

Residents of Wisbech have been praised by police for helping them to locate a 10-year-old boy who went missing in Wisbech this afternoon.

Officers along with family members searched the streets of the Waterleese area and safely found him.

“The missing lad was returned to his family,” said a police spokesman.

“Thank you to those members of the public who helped with enquiries and assisted officers with possible sightings ensuring no harm came to the missing boy. #teamwork #Safeguarding”
