TAXI drivers and members of the public aired their views about proposals to relocate the Wisbech taxi rank during a four hour "drop-in" session at the Boathouse this week.
Fenland District Council has suggested the rank should be moved from the Horsefair to an area alongside the Case public house.
Councillor Kit Owen, FDC's portfolio holder with responsibility for licensing, was on hand to answer questions, along with licensing officer Kim Winterton and project manager Gary Edwards.
Public consultation on the proposal is due to end on Monday, November 23; the council says a decision on the taxi rank's future will made after response to the consultations are considered by the licensing committee and the full council.
