Pub rock legends Dr. Feelgood will top the bill at this year’s new and improved Wisbech Rock Festival.
The Essex rockers, best known for hit singles ‘Milk and Alcohol’ and ‘She Does It Right’ will headline the one-day festival’s main stage at Wisbech Park on August 6.
But it’s not all about rock at the free festival – an acoustic and dance stage will also showcase the area’s finest musicians from 11am to 8pm.
And, like at any festival, there will be fairground rides, a beer tent, face painting and a variety of stalls.
A town council spokesman said: “The town council has continued working, through its Community Events and Festivals Working Party, on delivering community events and festivals for the town.

“It is continuing with its ambition to make all of its events bigger and better each year, and that is true of the Rock Festival.”
