MORE than 2,000 employees of food manufacturer Premier Foods got to let off steam on Sunday when the company directors put on put on the annual family fun day.

The fun took place at Premier's Long Sutton factory and was open to workers from the Long Sutton, Wisbech and distribution factories.

The main event was an 'It's a Knockout' competition which saw four teams of 10, one from the Wisbech factory and the rest from Long Sutton, compete over an inflatable course with water, foam and fancy dress added for extra fun.

Eventual winners were the Misfits team, captained by Andy Simms, supply chain manager at Long Sutton.

Other attractions included fairground rides, a rodeo bull ride, ferret racing, music by rock group Evolution, a disco and barbecue. There was also children's entertainment in the form of small rides, a magician and a Punch and Judy puppet play.
