THE Wisbech branch of the UK’s largest food producer has donated nearly 500 towards a scout group’s appeal to help refurbish the roof of their headquarters.
The community relations committee of Premier Foods in Wisbech presented the cheque to help the 3rd Marshland Scout Group continue their group meetings without the need to mop up rain fall or snow.
The scout hut was in the news recently after it became a temporary home for the Terrington St John GP Surgery.
