Pram torched by arsonists in Wisbech street - and fire spreads to outbuilding

FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a fire in a pram which was torched by arsonists.

Crews were called to Norwich Road, Wisbech, at 6.20pm yesterday after the fire spread to an outbuilding.

Firefighters from Wisbech and West Walton attended the blaze. The fire was extinguished using one hose reel and crews were back at base by 7.20pm.

A fire service spokeswoman said: “Anyone with information about the fire should contact police on 0345 456 4564, or you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org”
