ORGANISERS have been forced to cancel a fashion show at the Oasis Community Centre in Wisbech due to poor ticket sales.
The show was due to take place from 7.30-10pm at the centre, in St Michael’s Avenue, on Wednesday but it will now not go ahead.
Organisers said the event was “quite costly” to hold and the company needed a guaranteed number of participants who would attend. Staff at the Oasis Centre could not gurantee how many would be there.
The fashion show organisers apologised for “any disappointment this may cause the community but it was not the community centre’s decision to cancel”.
