A DRIVER almost ended up in a ditch after a motorist hurled a drink can at his windscreen.

The 40-year-old from Milton Keynes was driving along Leverington Common, towards Leverington, at about 3.30pm on June 27 when he spotted a white Ford Transit coming the other way.

As he passed the other vehicle the van driver leaned out his window and threw a full drink can at the car's windscreen.

The driver swerved to avoid the can, which hit the glass, and the car almost ended up in a ditch.

The driver escaped the ordeal unharmed but shaken.
